Zovod

Your code. Your agents. One quiet workspace.

Open a project, edit files, inspect changes, and keep several AI coding sessions within reach. Move between AI sessions, code and terminal in Brave, on your Mac or iPhone. A small native companion keeps your files and agent accounts on your Mac.

Open Zovod

Zovod 0.5.0. Try the browser-local demo first. Connect your own workspace when you are ready.

A place to work

Files and tabs, a code editor, search, Git changes, and a Fish terminal. Use the command palette and keyboard shortcuts on your Mac, or labelled AI, Code and Terminal controls on your iPhone.

Your existing agent accounts

Use Codex, Claude, and GitHub Copilot through acli's native session engine. Zovod does not ask for vendor API keys. Providers' own account limits still apply.

Room for long sessions

Rust and WebAssembly manage workspace state. Session history loads in pages, with bounded transcript rendering and memory rather than a growing wall of messages.

Connect a project on your Mac

Work on your Mac in the latest Brave, or connect an SSH workspace through your native companion. Native companion access is private during this release. Install Zovod and acli, then start the companion with an explicit project path:

zovod serve --workspace /absolute/path/to/project

In desktop Brave, open Zovod, select Connect, allow Brave's local network request, and enter the short-lived pairing code printed in your terminal. Your Mac companion provides file access and native execution. Agent credentials remain native; AI providers receive the context sent by their native agents. The demo works without a companion and makes no inference requests.

A focused workspace on iPhone

The compact layout is designed for iPhone 17 Pro. AI sessions come first, with Code and Terminal one tap away. Open files and session settings in sheets, save or undo an edit, and keep your draft when switching views. Long session history stays bounded, with a full reader for each event.

For a real Mac workspace on your iPhone, install Tailscale on both devices, join the same private tailnet and enable HTTPS for your Mac's Tailscale hostname. Use that hostname in place of the example below. Start the companion with your project and its verified Zovod 0.5.0 browser bundle:

zovod serve --workspace /absolute/path/to/project \
  --web-root /absolute/path/to/zovod/dist \
  --private-origin https://your-mac.your-tailnet.ts.net

In another Mac terminal, publish the loopback companion only inside your private tailnet:

tailscale serve --https=443 http://127.0.0.1:47321

On your iPhone, open Zovod, choose Connect, then Open private HTTPS workspace and enter your Mac's HTTPS address. Enter the short-lived pairing code at that private address. The app, API and live connection use the same HTTPS origin; pairing codes stay out of URLs. Credentials and execution remain on your Mac. Keep your Mac awake, Tailscale connected and both terminal commands running.

Sessions with clear boundaries

New parallel sessions use separate Git worktrees. Review agent requests in the workspace, keep drafts across reconnects, and inspect changes before integrating them into your project. Routes that may consume paid credits require an explicit opt-in.

WebMCP exposes bounded workspace actions to browser tools. Human approval and paid-usage decisions remain explicit controls in the workspace. Zont supplies the build and release checks; Vynx provides the managed Brave testing boundary.

Rust tools and shared workspaces

Language servers, a debugger, and curated extensions join the coding workspace. Rust support uses rust-analyzer for diagnostics, completion, navigation and reviewed refactors. LLDB provides breakpoints, stepping, stacks and variables.

Keep local and SSH projects connected together. Invite a viewer or controller to selected AI sessions and their worktrees, with one controller at a time. Using the owner's agent account needs a separate opt-in. Credentials stay native, and terminal access and debugger launch remain owner controls.

Reconnect an SSH target from the workspace switcher while other connections keep working. Unsaved files and drafts stay available; a changed companion keeps the previous view offline for review.
